International project ATLAS

In the framework of the international project in Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw from June 25 to July 1 will productions of Strefa WolnoSłowa, Cie Check Points from Paris, kunstZ from Antwerp and Cantieri Meticci from Bologna theatre groups, which for many years working with migrants and refugees, will be performed.

At the invitation of the Strefа WolnoSłowа Foundation in all groups were created performances, based on several months of joint theatre work between migrants and the elderly people. Theatrical and musical events will be a unique chance for discussion on issues of collective memory, community, racism, migration and integration policies of individual European countries. Everything will be displayed through the stories of individual men, whose fate forced them to flee to Europe or who shared in the performances of their experiences with political unrest.
